Peru

Peru offers a compelling combination of stunning scenery, colourful local culture and fascinating history. It contains many unforgettable sights, from colonial cities and pre-Columbian remains to soaring mountain ranges, deep canyons, blue lakes and the Amazon River and rainforest. Martina Franca, Italy

Iceland

Long daylight hours and mild weather make July a great time to visit Iceland. Botswana

Botswana’s dry season runs from May to October, so you can camp outside under the starry skies and spend your days spotting iconic African wildlife gathering around waterholes, rivers and the Okavango Delta. Or experience the Great Migration in the Serengeti, Tanzania where more than a million wildebeest move north to Kenya.

Zimbabwe

The safari parks of Kenya and Zimbabwe beckon, as the dry season coaxes out wildlife amid mild temperatures and clear skies. Portugal

Cappadocia, Turkey

This is a good month to explore the legacy of the Ottomans, whilst enjoying pleasant mild weather. Famed for its fairy chimneys and cave dwellings, the region of Cappadocia is quieter at this time of year compared to sights such as the Greek ruins of Ephesus. If it’s the coast that calls, conditions are ideal for visiting the white-sand beaches and glittering waters along Turkey’s Mediterranean shoreline.

Muscat, Oman

The Sultanate of Oman is one of the least known, yet most exciting tourist destinations in the Middle East. The country perches on the south-east tip of the Arabian Peninsula, overlooking the Arabian Sea, the Gulf of Oman and the Persian Gulf.

With warm temperatures and lower humidity, October is a great month to explore Madagascar. The lush scenery is breathtaking, and the beaches offer a tranquil escape with warm waters and wonderful snorkelling. This tropical island is also home to ring tailed lemurs, chameleons, and the famed baobab trees in all their lush colourful glory.

New England, USA

New England is magical in the Fall, thanks to its stunning foliage, mild weather and great seasonal events!  Explore the Freedom Trail in Boson and then head out on a self-drive trip to the rugged coastline of Maine with its quaint seaside towns and famous lighthouses. Head into New Hampshire’s White Mountains and then onto Vermont with its rolling hills and beautiful villages. Feast on Clam Chowder, pumpkin pie, and cider doughnuts, it’s all a warm delicious hug!

Marrakech

Marrakech is a vibrant city and a great destination for sun, culture, food and shopping. You can relax by a pool during the day, or lose yourself in the incredible souks and boutiques filled with local handicrafts and bartered bargains. You will find jewellery, fashion, pottery and homewares in abundance, not to mention carpets and rugs!! Restaurants are lively and the local food is incredible, including mouthwatering tagines, mezze and harira you will be spoilt for choice. Marrakech is the gateway to the Atlas Mountains; snow peaked caps stand proudly beyond the city roof tops and are famed for hiking trails & impressive waterfalls. Watch the sun go down with a mojito, in one of the many roof top cocktail bars! Marrakech has a combination of wonderful food and a great vibe!

Thailand

November is a great month to visit Thailand as the rainy season gives way to drier conditions. Explore Bangkok, known for its stunning temples and bustling markets, or immerse yourself in the cultural richness of Chiang Mai, especially during the Yi Peng Lantern Festival. The southern beaches in Phuket and Koh Samui are perfect for just chilling! November tends to be less crowded than peak season, allowing you to savour Thailand’s rich flavours, warm hospitality, and breathtaking landscapes without the usual hustle and bustle..

Mauritius

With temperatures hovering around the mid-70s to low 80s°F (24-28°C) and minimal rainfall, November is perfect for enjoying the stunning beaches and crystal-clear waters of Mauritius.  Enjoy snorkelling, diving, and surfing, or relax on the pristine sands of popular spots like Flic en Flac and Belle Mare. Explore the lush surrounds of Seven Colored Earths in Chamarel or perhaps a hike in the Black River Gorges National Park.

Prague, Budapest, Vienna and Saltzburg... If you love Christmas then a visit to any of these wonderful cities will give you a full festive experience ahead of the big day!

Wrap up warm and wander around the market stalls with a mulled wine in hand and the sound of sleigh bells ringing. Crisp blue skies act as a backdrop to stunning cityscapes, all packed with incredible history and beautiful architecture! South Africa

During South Africa's dry season the southern safari lodges offer abundant wildlife sightings of the big 5, while vibrant Cape Town is awash with seemingly endless sunshine.  Explore the Garden Route, stopping off to see the whales begin their southward migration and don’t forget to find time to take in the Stellenbosch wine region!  Penguins, Table Mountain, Robin Island, so much to see - stay a while and soak up all South Africa has to offer.

Ras Al Khaimah

In search of sunshine in a luxury setting, most folks head to Dubai to enjoy fine dining and top-quality service at its many sumptuous hotels.

But for a more laid-back stay and authentic Arabian experience, head north for an hour to Ras al Khaimah its quieter neighbour. With it's long sandy beaches, gorgeous hotels, the highest mountain peak in UAE and most importantly sun, this is a destination to discover and enjoy.
